I created this photo essay on CONSUMERISM. I
chose ripped jeans as the item of clothing that represented the predictable
repetition. We wear what we are told to wear as a way of converging, a way of
self fulfilment. Subconscious
manipulation allows us to be owned and controlled fully; magnifying the need for
an increasingly greater number of things.
It may seem
dramatic but it’s true, even by the clothes we wear, it’s proven that we ARE
living in a materialistic society, a society where we all look the same in one
way or another.
Overall i created 30 images but only chose a couple to show you, this was a project for university
